Hello
How does unbound determine the IP address and UDP port to use ?
Thanks

There are a few possible causes:
1. The IP address isn't assigned, or the interface that it is assigned to, is down. There is a message in your log account about wireless just connecting?
2. The UDP port is already in use by something else on the system. My understanding is that Unbound manages its own port range. No other process on your system should be active in that range.
3. You have an SELinux profile that doesn't allow Unbound to use same UDP port range that Unbound is configured to use. At one point, the CentOS Unbound rpm had a SELinux profile inconsistent with the Unbound. Or you changed the Unbound config, and didn't update SELInux.

Hello
What causes the error to bind socket ?
We have seen these errors when configured for "unbound resolver" or "unbound forwarding" modes.
They seem to not cause a problem, the resolver eventually resolves the request.
