We use Unbound 1.9.1 somewhere with the 'prefer-ip6'-option set to yes
(because we can).

Yesterday it turned out that the server it was running on, lost it's
IPv6 default gateway for some reason and hence it's IPv6 connectivity.

After that, resolving failed big time, which is something I didn't
expect to happen.

Is the prefer-ip6 the reason for this? If so, shouldn't Unbound fall
back to IPv4 if the preferred method becomes unavailable?
