Nobody like onlinebanking or webmail unencrypted.
And some people dislike plaintext dns also. And this is not wrong.

Btw.:
Curvedns is no vaporware. It works, is ready for productional use
and coexist (transparent in front) with a dnssec enabled nsd.
I cant's see any drawback when using software for more security.
Discussion should be limited about the used crypto.
