There usually is a connection, albeit sometimes far-fetched. In this case there seemed to be a lock starvation issue, so I was reminded of this:

I am keeping all options open ;) Today though another name was more appropriate to both the season and the cherry-picking involved in that release.. Though to be fair, picking blossom is not the best strategy for getting a lot of cherries.. far-fetched it is then.
