[net-dns-users] Net::DNS 0.76 Emergency Release

Dear maintainers and users of Net::DNS,

We have an emergency release of Net::DNS version 0.76.

Version 0.75 contained a bug in the parsing of /etc/resolv.conf by
Net::DNS::Resolver objects.  With this bug only the last “nameserver”
line in /etc/resolv.conf is evaluated and name servers specified on
earlier “nameserver” lines are discarded
(See https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=95596 ).

This could result in decreased availability of resolving capabilities
on systems with multiple “nameserver” lines in /etc/resolv.conf since
only the name servers given on the last "nameserver" line will be
targeted.

Besides the aforementioned bug a few others have been resolved.
