[ldns-users] cross compiler issues

When I compile my c code..makefile using...
A cross compiler...
Follwing error comes...

/opt/mtwk/usr/local/gcc-3.4.3-glibc-2.3.6-1/powerpc-603e-linux/lib/gcc/powerpc-603e-linux/3.4.3/../../../../powerpc-603e-linux/bin/ld: libusb-1.0.a(libusb_1_0_la-core.o): Relocations in generic ELF (EM: 3)
libusb-1.0.a: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [usbmon] Error 1



how to get rid of this error....
And why this error comes..

What config statement should I use..
