[ldns-users] no message compression

Hello Everyone,
    I am using ldns-1.3.0 and I am creating an ldns_pkt  packet and using ldns_pkt2wire() to create buffer,  but it does not apply the message compression as defined in rfc-1035 (section 4.1.4).
  I am unable to find any documentation for the same. Am I missing something to enable the compression.
Please advice.
