<p>I would like to tune unbound outgoing ports for unbound in order to use the HW as much as possible. The machine is a dedicated resolver with IPv4 and IPv6 address and it is doing IPv6. In sysctl.conf i have:</p>

<p>net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 5000 65000.</p>

<p>Are following values ok in order to use all 60k of outogoing ports?</p>

<p>outgoing-range: 60000<br />outgoing-port-permit: 5000-65000</p>
